Growing Things Farm
Growing fresh organic veggies, eggs and meat since 1991.
Products
We bring a limited quantity of handmade soap, jam, and other products to our farmers market booth. Availablity varies, depending on the season and what we have in stock.
Soap
We make soap the old-fashioned way, using ingredients we grow organically on the farm. Our soap is gentle, long-lasting, and effective. It will leave your skin clean and soft.
12 oz. bars. $5 per bar / $4.50 for three or more bars.
Ingredients: Saponified coconut, palm, olive, and goat milk* oils, essential oils, herbs.
* We are transitioning into using goat milk in our soap instead of tallow; older bars of soap may still contain tallow.

Gem
At Growing Things Farm, we call it "Gem," not Jam. Gem has less sugar, more fruit. Michaele, owner of Growing Things Farm, makes all the Gem herself — following a generations-old family recipe and using hand-selected fruit from the farm or from farmer friends. Each jar is sealed with a kiss!
$6 per jar / $5 for three or more jars.
Supplies are currently too low to offer Gem at the market stand. We'll make more as soon as we've finished planting our fall crops, so you can look forward to seeing a full selection of Gem at the stand soon.
Eggs
We sell our eggs by the dozen at the farmers markets, when supply allows. Since our CSA customers have first priority for eggs, we aren't always able to keep up with the demand; if you wish to purchase eggs from us at the market, please come early. We sell out quickly.
Egg shares are available in conjunction with our CSA veggie share (they're not available separately).
Our eggs come from a wonderful laying breed, gentle and sweet and terrific layers. The hens are also great foragers and, in addition to eating their daily meal of organic grains, they scratch around in their pastures, snacking on greens and hunting for tasty worms and insects. They go inside the egg house to lay eggs, and, during certain times of the day, it is impossible to go in without covering your ears for all the proud exclamations of their contributions to the cause.
Read more about our chickens on our farm animals page.
Meat
We sell farm-raised chicken, turkey, pork, and beef. We often offer chickens at the market, but not always. Your best bet for making sure you get what you want is to order in advance. We begin taking orders in February.
Detailed information about our animals and how to order can be found on our farm animals page. To order, download our meat order form.
Veggie Starts
In the spring, we sell vegetable and herb starts so you can grow your own delicious produce at home! Selection will vary, but could include vegetables like cherry tomatoes, heirloom tomatoes, and delicata squash, and herbs like summer savory, basil, and italian parsley.
